Really free. Break Buddy is a nonprofit foundation. Donations and funds cover our costs, you never pay anything.
No. We never ask for documents, diagnoses or your legal name. Your story is enough.
Then you just say so, to your buddy or to us. We look again, no hassle. A match is only a match when it clicks both ways.
Yes. Break Buddy is for everyone waiting for gender care: trans women, trans men, non-binary people and everyone still discovering.
Sparingly. We only ask what is needed to match, never share anything without your consent, and you can always have everything deleted.
Often, yes. You do not have to be “done” with anything. What matters is that you are steady enough to be there for someone. We look at that together.
